Immerse yourself in the art of bonsai forest creation! This unique Slab-Planting Dawn Redwood Forest Workshop is designed to bring the majestic beauty of a redwood grove into miniature form. 

Led by NEBG’s own Pete Olson, this workshop gives you the chance to design and plant a stunning Dawn Redwood bonsai forest on a slab. With hands-on instruction, you’ll create a harmonious and natural composition that mirrors the raw beauty of ancient redwood forests. 

Slab planting adds an extra dimension of artistry – arranging trees on a flat slab evokes the look of an expansive, aged landscape, offering a fresh perspective to your bonsai collection.

What's Included in the Workshop:

• Dawn Redwood Seedlings: Each participant will receive 3 to 4-year-old seedlings reserved specifically for this class.
• Natural Bonsai Slab: Pre-selected slabs are included in the workshop fee.
• Tools & Materials: We’ll provide the tools, soil, and wire needed to create your composition.
• Expert Instruction: Pete Olson will walk you through trunk variation, spacing, pruning, and wiring to ensure your forest planting looks dynamic and natural.
