One-Of-A-Kind Shimpaku

This is a fabulous looking twisted 'kishu' Shimpaku. As you can see from the picture, the bark on one side of the tree was removed. Next year, once the wood dries, you'll want to treat the wood with Ho Yoku Jin Seal. This will bleach and protect the deadwood / Jin. The tree was styled on November 9, 2022. This tree potted in the spring will look like a million bucks!
