15th Annual
A Great Success!

This year the Kaikou Bonsai Study Group and the Cape Cod Bonsai Club and members here at New England Bonsai Gardens combined their prodigious talents and beautiful bonsai. The result was a gorgeous exhibition. The event was not judged. There were critiques officiated by John Romano and a People's Choice award that went to Lou Carreiro for his Brazilian Raintree.

Thanks to everyone who displayed their trees and who attended the show. Special thanks to the following for their indispensable help in organizing and setting up and taking down: Chau Ho, Ken Bach, Neil Parker, Jorge Ribeiro, Howard Shainheit, Barry Fireman, Tom Mason, Mike Woods, Vickie Gaudreau, Jill Simmons and anyone else we may have temporarily forgotten.

And thanks of course to John Romano, who is the Chief Don and master of all things Kaikou. John's experience and love of bonsai always leads us along the path to excellence. We could not have done it without him!
